NQ Personal Injury solicitor

Job title: NQ Personal Injury Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified Personal Injury Solicitor to join the Personal Injury department at DBS, a professional services firm located on the edge of Birmingham City Centre.

We are looking for a recently qualified solicitor with Personal Injury experience to join a dynamic, forwarding thinking team. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, as well as having spent at least 6 months of your training contract dealing with Personal Injury cases.

Working under the supervision of a senior solicitor, you will handle your own caseload of litigated claims from start to finish. Trainee Solicitor

An adaptable individual with 2 years’ experience of claimant personal injury work, you will be a fast learner, familiar with CPR and have good litigation experience of fast track personal injury matters.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to business development activities to further our growth and success.

Main purpose of job: To provide legal support to a team of solicitors. The Trainee Solicitor has the opportunity to experience working in three office locations and develop in line with the SRA Practice Skills Standards.

Main Duties:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join the Accounts department at DBS, a professional services firm located on the edge of Birmingham City Centre.

The successful candidate will become part of a busy Accounts team handling a varied workload of legal accounts matters to include: daily banking; completion payments and receipts; processing invoices; cheque requisitions; logging staff expenses and overtime; dealing with fee earner queries and; monitoring the client account. This is a hands-on role suited to an organised professional seeking a new challenge.

The Person:

  • A Legal Cashier with at least 6 months’ experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent technical and organisational skills;
  • IT literate to include MS Word and Excel;
  • Good working knowledge of the SAR is desirable but not essential;

Job title: Client Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a client advisor to join the Personal Injury department at DBS, a professional services firm located on the edge of Birmingham City Centre.

In addition to English, it is essential that you are fluent in Romanian.

This role is a mix of managing customer queries, providing timely advice on all matters and promoting the company and attracting clients by informing them about services that could suit them via digital marketing. This will involve the translation of information from English to Romanian.

This role is primarily over the phone, but may be face-to-face or even online.  The role is part time, working flexibly over 7 days with days and hours to suit.  

You will require good administration and I.T Skills as well as being methodical, focused and self-motivated. You will need to be patient, friendly and tactful with the ability to remain calm under pressure in order to process forms for new matters, retain clients and arrange home visits. Good timekeeping and being target driven is important.
